Eligibility Criteria (Education & Age)
1. Age Limit
- Candidates born between July 2, 2005, and January 2, 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- In case a candidate clears all stages of the selection procedure, then the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment is 21 years.
2. Educational Qualification
- Science Subjects:
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR, passed a Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Other Than Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 / Intermediate in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Agniveer Vayu Selection Process
The selection process consists of three phases:

| Phase I: Online Test | Objective type test with subjects based on the stream (Science or Non-Science). |
| Phase II: Physical Fitness & Adaptability Test | Includes a 1.6 Km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats, followed by Adaptability Tests to assess suitability for the Air Force way of life. |
| Phase III: Medical Examination | A comprehensive medical examination as per IAF standards. |
Agniveer Vayu Salary Package
Agniveers will receive a customized package, along with a “Seva Nidhi” package at the end of their 4-year tenure.
